Singapore-Malaysia Part 3

Legoland - Singapore Coziee Lodge - Bugis Street

Malaysia

We woke up really early in time to catch the bus from the Royal Bintang hotel to Legoland!

Actually, not many people know of this bus (even the hostel receptionist does not know!). Well, thanks to my amazingly thorough research. Haha. But actually, this bus caters first those who have booked already. So, we waited for the driver's last call and finally, they let us in!I'm just so thankful there were not much passengers.

It was a relaxing 4-hour journey where we made one stop along the way.

Bus stop!
There's nothing much to see along the way except for lush greeneries.

Here at the famous Legoland!!! The theme park has a hotel and a water park as well.

Let the adventure begin!
This place is soooo colorful and I just love how uncrowded it is! And the fact that they have big lockers for our baggages!

I'll just let the pictures speak how awesome Legoland is.

We walked out from this theme park full of joy because we explored every bit of it. Before heading outside, I asked customer service for the bus schedules of buses going to Singapore. Here I learned that there are no direct buses as you really have to stop for the immigration. So, we boarded a bus going to Johor Bahru, another part of Malaysia we've never been to. This is one very commercialized place. They have one of the best terminals.

We immediately looked for the Malaysian immigration. The funny part was that I honestly thought the bus we boarded to Johor would also be the same bus that would transport us to Singapore. And while we were lining up, I felt kinda alarmed because those with Malaysian Passports just passed through in seconds while the foreign passport holders stay in a long queue.

All those time, while we were lining up, I was thinking how my fellow passengers would react because we're so slow. And we later found out that you have to line up again according to your destination again! Haha. Now we know!

We arrived in Singapore early evening and checked in at Coziee Lodge. We then spent the rest of the evening at Bugis Street for souvenir items. So loovin' this part of Singapore! :)

Singapore-Malaysia Part 2

Malaysia (Irsia BnB - Petronas Tower - Batu Caves - City Tour - Petros Tower - Bukit Bintang)

Kuala Lumpur!

We got off the train when the announcer said it's the KL Central station and is the last station. I researched ahead that this particular terminal has public showers. So, for the first time in all our travels, we tried them!

This is located in the ground floor and has separate areas for males and females. You only have to pay a certain amount.

After freshening up, we started our day with a breakfast inside the terminal. Look what I've tried! So yummy!!!

Then, we headed to Irsia BnB to check-in and went out immediately after leaving our bags. This hostel is located opposite the Berjaya Times Square.

Our first stop is none other than, Petronas Tower! This is several stations away from the hostel. Kuala Lumpur's iconic structure everybody!! Woooaaah!!!

We had several photo ops and even went inside to see it and booked a tour at 8 pm. It has a mall below it where we had lunch.

Lunch in Petronas, baby!

After filling our stomachs, we headed to Batu Caves! This is around 20-min ride away.

Isn't the whole place amazing?

After exploring the cave (it was not an easy journey to and from the top yah know), we proceeded to Merdeka Square!

Our first stop, the Jamek Mosque.

Then, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building

And the best of them all, the KL  Gallery where you'd get to experience the whole KL in miniature in glowing lights! You got to experience this super duper creative and jaw dropping performance!

We went back the hostel and rested for a while and went directly to Petronas Tower for the night tour.

This part is really unfortunate. We went out the wrong train station and realized we could not enter again because we had no enough balace in our KL Rapid Cards! oMG! So, we ended up 20 mins late and the in-charge did not let us anymore up the tower because the tour has started already. Huhu. That was really soooo frustrating but I did not blame anyone. We just went outside and watched the tower in full glory before us. A very beautiful sight at night!

We had some pictures and went next to Jalan Alor, the food strip of KL. Super busy at this part of KL. We had dinner and started to check if there were night markets, only to find out there's none except for a few stalls. Waaahh! I didn't expect this.

Since we had no more choice, we settled with their products. There were nice souvenirs though. Hehe. I just forgot to buy a tshirt! Huhu

We went back the hostel after shopping some chocolates and called it a day. What a day indeed!
