Pearl Meat Shop

I've heard and seen so much of this place in social media. Luckily, my dear friends also craved for korean dishes that same night.

This is actually a korean meat shop located in Mandaue City. We had the LH Prime Clinic as a landmark as it was very near it.

Anyway, behind the meat shop are sets of tables (with or without chairs) where you get to cook food on your own.

We preferred squatting to experience it the most authentic way possible. Haha.

You have to order a samgyeupsal for each person which costs 180-400 per order depending on the cut. Don't ya have to worry , this comes with unlimited side dishes including kimchi!!!

Okay, we were quite a crowd so we had two burners and started making our meals.

I find this place very simple but you wouldn't really mind if you have so much things to do in front of you and you're with a bunch of talkative peeps! Haha

Well, I've been to lots of korean restaurants and I couldn't seem to see any difference other than this resto's yummy side dishes and the fact we ate it the korean way. And this is far more affordable than the places I've been to.

Chozzo

We were in a bargain shop in this Ayala junction when we searched for a place to eat.

We were so hungry already that we thought of going to JCA which is pretty much known in that place.
However, we cited this food stall here just outside the pizza chain. It's called Chozzo.

I'm just glad I was with spontaneous people who never minded choosing this over our first option.

So, we found out that they serve chorizo dishes- may it be rice toppings, sisig or fried lumpia! I ordered rice toppings and my companions ordered sisig.

The owner is a lady who served us delightedly.

The food was kinda sweet because it's chorizo but it just made me realize how one can really be creative and put up this kind of idea!  And the price is very much affordable.

I hope to see more of this kind of eatery in various parts of the city. It would really be worth exploring!
