Ladda Land, horror movie with a different perspective
A MUST-SEE!
The horror movie that made a real difference.
I was not really into this kind of movies but this one really stood out. A film not created just to scare but far more deeper. A film on how a father tried his best to give a good life to his family. It didn't focus on the reasons the ghosts appear but on how the father reacted out of pride just to keep the bond. Until now, the story's still with me.
The father was a great actor. I pitied him, hated him, understood him. And the director was great. Laddaland was a real estate project somewhere in Chiang Mai, Thailand. When the father brought his family to see the house for the first time, from the time the family entered the gate, you could really see how beautiful the place is.. How perfect it is for a family.. until the apparitions started.
I don't want to be a spoiler. So, I'd rather suggest this movie to anyone who loves films. I don't know if this has the same effect (the same with my friends) on you but seriously, we kept comparing this movie to the movies we later saw.
