Pearl Meat Shop

I've heard and seen so much of this place in social media. Luckily, my dear friends also craved for korean dishes that same night.

This is actually a korean meat shop located in Mandaue City. We had the LH Prime Clinic as a landmark as it was very near it.

Anyway, behind the meat shop are sets of tables (with or without chairs) where you get to cook food on your own.

We preferred squatting to experience it the most authentic way possible. Haha.

You have to order a samgyeupsal for each person which costs 180-400 per order depending on the cut. Don't ya have to worry , this comes with unlimited side dishes including kimchi!!!

Okay, we were quite a crowd so we had two burners and started making our meals.

I find this place very simple but you wouldn't really mind if you have so much things to do in front of you and you're with a bunch of talkative peeps! Haha

Well, I've been to lots of korean restaurants and I couldn't seem to see any difference other than this resto's yummy side dishes and the fact we ate it the korean way. And this is far more affordable than the places I've been to.

The Chillage

Along the strip of Cebu Doctor's University lies a very cool and artsy place named The Chillage.

Located at the ground floor of Adnama Building, I am happy I found this cafĂ©/store.

And I tell you, once you enter the place, every single angle seems to be picture-perfect!

The place displays a lot of stuff – from furnitures to shirts to accessories..

While I was busy taking the above pics, my colleagues started to order..

I heard this Taparoni is recommended much. So, I ordered one. I did not waste time while waiting for our orders. What the heck am I supposed to do in such a very artsy place with a cam in my hand?

And then the chips came..

tomato 'n tuna

chili cheese
I could still remember that appetizing taste of the tomato 'n tuna and that chili cheese. My God. The best appetizers so far..

Then, the sandwich came..

The Chorizo & Cream Pasta - unexpectedly yummy!

The Taparoni - tastes like a spaghetti for me..

We've had mango and blueberry cheesecakes for dessert. However, I thought it would last long on the table. Too bad, I only got this pic. They taste really good!

Before leaving, we just really need to have this shot. The place is just too nice to be taken for granted by a lady with a portable gadget.

I really believe this wouldn't be my last visit here. I'm planning to go back and experience this cafe at night and really feel how chill this place would be. :)
