Singapore-Malaysia Part 4

Singapore Universal Studios - Changi Airport

The last day of our trip was intended for the best. Haha

We checked out from Coziee Lodge with all our baggage and went straight to the train station. Our destination is Vivo City. It's the gateway to Sentosa if you won't want the walking part. Haha.

one of the food kiosks at Vivo City
We paid for a cable car ride to famous island and also paid the entrance to one of the must-go places of Singapore, the Universal Studios!

while waiting for the cable car
A lot of people are heading to the famous attraction we could not even find a perfect shot alone. Haha

that globe!
As we already paid in the mall, we directly went inside. Too bad their big lockers were all not available. We would have to bring all our stuff. Not really a problem though.

Let me tour you inside Universal Studios!

Hollywood!
As you can see, upon entering the amusement park, you are greeted by a long stretch of shops under a transparent cover above.

There are scheduled shows you have to take note of.

Let's go farther!

One of the most amazing 4-D rides ever!

And we were able to experience a Steven Spielberg studio and how does it feel to shoot one tsunami scene!

There were a lot of restaurants in the map but we opted to try this Indian place over here. Haha

Outside the restaurant is the Ancient Egypt!

Then we continued to the Lost World!

Then to the Kingdom Far Far Away.

We explored Madagascar and went straight back to Hollywood for the Grand Parade!

It was an awesome whole-day exploration at Universal Studios. We would have loved to explore the rest of Sentosa but due to time constraints, we went back to Vivo City and had some last-minute shopping at Bugis Street before heading to the airport.

I hope to go back in Singapore to explore places that I wasn't able to visit. Til next time Lion City! :)

Singapore-Malaysia Part 3

Legoland - Singapore Coziee Lodge - Bugis Street

Malaysia

We woke up really early in time to catch the bus from the Royal Bintang hotel to Legoland!

Actually, not many people know of this bus (even the hostel receptionist does not know!). Well, thanks to my amazingly thorough research. Haha. But actually, this bus caters first those who have booked already. So, we waited for the driver's last call and finally, they let us in!I'm just so thankful there were not much passengers.

It was a relaxing 4-hour journey where we made one stop along the way.

Bus stop!
There's nothing much to see along the way except for lush greeneries.

Here at the famous Legoland!!! The theme park has a hotel and a water park as well.

Let the adventure begin!
This place is soooo colorful and I just love how uncrowded it is! And the fact that they have big lockers for our baggages!

I'll just let the pictures speak how awesome Legoland is.

We walked out from this theme park full of joy because we explored every bit of it. Before heading outside, I asked customer service for the bus schedules of buses going to Singapore. Here I learned that there are no direct buses as you really have to stop for the immigration. So, we boarded a bus going to Johor Bahru, another part of Malaysia we've never been to. This is one very commercialized place. They have one of the best terminals.

We immediately looked for the Malaysian immigration. The funny part was that I honestly thought the bus we boarded to Johor would also be the same bus that would transport us to Singapore. And while we were lining up, I felt kinda alarmed because those with Malaysian Passports just passed through in seconds while the foreign passport holders stay in a long queue.

All those time, while we were lining up, I was thinking how my fellow passengers would react because we're so slow. And we later found out that you have to line up again according to your destination again! Haha. Now we know!

We arrived in Singapore early evening and checked in at Coziee Lodge. We then spent the rest of the evening at Bugis Street for souvenir items. So loovin' this part of Singapore! :)
