Around Africa - Cape Town (Day 2)

The continuation of my exploration led me to the famous stadium! Well, it's where the 2004 FIFA World Cup was held! Remember Waka waka? Haha

Then, I had this mandatory pic in this huge frame. Ever wondered why Table Mountain?

If you try to see my background, it's a huge expanse of terrain. I actually never heard of Table Mountain before but I should say it's a breathtaking sight. Its flat top really resembles a table. Hence the name.

And I tried an African meat ball in the Food Market and explored more of the waterfront.

They have nice souvenirs as well! Eggs and chess board (Photos courtesy of pangs)!

And that ended my stay here in Cape Town. A great way to start this new journey!

P. S.

Just in case you're not into city tourism, I suggest you do what my colleagues did. Ms. Clauds, Pangs and Tyrone explored the table mountain itself!

And here's one of their epic shots!

Albay Summer Adventure! (Part 4)

We woke up with the birthday boy cooking for us. Haha. Supeer thanks! We shared the table with a solo traveller actually. He has toured around the globe and I was super amazed!

Anyway, our last day's spent in the market. It was situated at the terminal opposite Pacific Mall.  Buses that take you to various parts of Luzon are waiting for passengers here.

the Central Terminal

We bought souvenir shirts and pouches as well as their very popular pili delicacies then went back to the hostel to check out.

reminds me so much of a Japanese animated film
We ate lunch at Pares King before heading to the airport for our 3 pm flight.

at Pares King!
this is lunch! :)

And look who bid goodbye as we waited for boarding time!

what a view!
Thank you Mt. Mayon:)
